Welcome To Lush Occasions

Lush Occasions was established in Burton-On-Trent in 2007, my hometown. It was here that I unearthed my passion for collaborating with couples to create unique designs for their special day.

Starting as a part-time endeavor, my small business has evolved into a thriving business known for its excellence and meticulousness. We are delighted to have been recognized as the BEST VENUE STYLIST in the West Midlands by the esteemed ‘The Wedding Industry Awards’ on four occasions and NATIONAL VENUE STYLIST OF THE YEAR WINNER 2025, an achievement of which we are immensely proud.

Our aim is to make your day both beautiful and stressfree. We will personally style your room on your day so you can be confident that your venue will be perfectly set up and ready for your arrival.
Collaborating with wedding industry professionals allows me to create the wedding of your dreams.

After your initial consultation where we discus your tastes, love story and vision, I start creating your bespoke design.

Working closely with my clients is hugely rewarding.  I am excited to bring every beautiful design to life and even more excited to see your reaction as we reveal your rooms to you. From Rustic Chic to Pure Elegance, the perfectionist in me and my team will ensure any tears will be tears of joy as you enter your room.

Hi, Lou from Lush Occasions here.
I’ve been lovingly adorning couples’ weddings with elegant, inspired styling since 2007; my business has heart and passion at its core, so I want to tell you a little more about myself and what makes my luxury wedding styling services unique.
It was my dream for many years to break into the wedding industry.
My mum, a beautiful Spanish lady with a big heart, grew up in a little village where she was taught embroidery and the attention to detail it required. I believe it is from her that I inherited my creativity and perfectionism, both of which shine through in every bespoke story I create with my styling. In 2007 Lush Occasions came to life at my home in Burton-On-Trent, and since then I have been crafting visually beautiful, stress-free wedding days filled with the soul and personality of my couples.

Wedding Decor

The service I offer is completely bespoke;
you won’t find any pre-packaged options at Lush Occasions.

 

At heart I am a romantic, and this is reflected in the soft elegance of my styling and my love for hearing about my couples’ meeting and engagement stories! Whilst I am aware of and inspired by current trends, I am not a slave to them – the story of my couples is the guiding factor for my tablescapes and room decor.
I genuinely love working on weddings and I go above and beyond with my clients; my energy and vision for their day gives them confidence that I care about it just as much as they do, down to the last detail.
Anyone who knows or has worked with me will tell you that attention to detail is a signature of my styling, whether I’m working on a stately home, marquee or a barn. To ensure complete satisfaction, I always meet with my clients at their venue prior to their day and style a whole table so they are totally happy and left with no reservations. The only tears on their wedding day should be tears of joy and wonder at the transformation of their space.

Wedding Design

When I’m not perfecting the placement of your blossom tree branches or adjusting the finishing touches of your top table, you’ll probably find me pursuing my second passion – travel! I love to explore new and beautiful places with my wonderful family. I’m a Mum of 3 fantastic grown children and a lot of people don’t know that I also have a twin sister! We’ve had so much fun over the years confusing people who have had no idea that we are twins, yes we are that alike!
During the past year when travel wasn’t possible and social activities restricted, I chose to be proactive for my business – I found lots of inspiration on social media, particularly in Mediterranean weddings which excite me so much with their flavour! My back-office systems have been streamlined and my website updated, so that when you’re ready to book everything will be perfectly in place for you. All this fuelled by plenty of coffee and cake, of course!
